Soft
windows
These clear windows make a massive difference to a cot that requires padding as without them, the cot may appear enclosed. As they are soft, they become part of the padding and therefore safety is not compromised. Our windows are double ‘glazed’ with a pocket of air and are perfectly transparent.
A safe, cosy and secure environment
Our padding and mattresses always fit together snugly so there are no gaps which could pose an entrapment risk. We commonly use soft-touch Panvelle or vinyl for Theraposture padding which is non-permeable, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and anti-fungal.

attached with Velcro or bolts for extra security and fabrics are available in a

Optional top edge padding
Every Mascot Mk2 can be padded however you wish. If you choose for door padding to be full height then we can pad over the top edge as well so safety is enhanced. One of our Trusted Assessors will be able to consider whether this is required during the assessment process.
