The Dual Alarm can be used as a recordable bed or chair exit alarm, which works with one of our sensor pads or floor mats (sold separately), or it can be used as a Magnet/Pull String Alarm.
To use as a magnet/pull string alarm
Attach the magnet cord to the alarm. Clip the other end of the cord to your patient. Usually the back of their shoulder. Hang the alarm on the back of the chair. When your patient starts to get up, the magnet is pulled from the alarm and the alert sounds. Record a 15 second message such as, "please sit down, someone is coming to help you". To silence the alert, either replace the magnet onto the alarm, or press the reset button.
The alarm features a volume control, recordable feature, low battery light, alarm active light, hanging strap, cord strain relief and a nursecall port and comes with a one year manufacturer's warranty.
The Dual Alarm requires 3 AA batteries to operate (not included)
