Whether an individual with dementia has fond memories from time spent with their pet at home, or visiting a petting zoo, this reminiscence activity has been designed to prompt conversation around the theme of animals.
How it works
With each pack including 15 images, carefully chosen from the 1950s, this activity aims to spark conversation around some fond memories. Ask the individual with mid-stage dementia to choose a card, then use the questions on the back of the card to initiate an enjoyable conversation.
