This wireless chair exit alarm system is ideal for caring for the elderly, and/or those with dementia or Alzheimer's. By not having the alarm in the room where the patient is located, they will not become confused or upset by the alert noise as they try to stand. But the carer will hear the alert immediately in other rooms in the home or building, even in the garden! (always test distance before use)
System includes a exit
alarm/pager and long term chair sensor pad. The alarm/pager can be kept
with the care person.
Place the chair pad in the seat of the patient's chair, so that when your patient starts to stand, the alarm will sound wherever the Carer has placed the alarm/pager.
The Alarm features volume control and an on/off button. The alarm emits a repeated chime tone and operates on three (3) C batteries (not included).
Alarm and chair pad both come with a one year manufacturer's warranty, and the sensor pad is incontinence protected and features a foam interior for patient comfort.
